Nelson Jazz Club presents Sally and the Splankies!

Sally and the Splankies are a group of enthusiastic local musicians, re-energising the toe tapping jazz from the roaring 1920s, celebrating the swing era and honouring the British Trad Jazz Revival – all with the booming approval of Sally – our 100 year old tuba! The core of the band is Sally – our 100 year old tuba, operated by Jeff Swanney.  Kate Redgrove on trombone, Mason Robinson on trumpet, Dave North on clarinet and Mark Rawdon on percussion.

Sally and the Splankies provide great, toe tapping music guaranteed to get everyone up and moving.
