The Hammond Organ has its roots in Gospel, Soul and R&B music.

It’s popularity peaked during the Bop era in America in the 1950s and 60s, with innovators like Jimmy Smith, and Dr Lonnie Smith producing classic albums with some of the top sidemen of the day.

Come along to hear the Blue Groove Organ Trio bring to life the blues- tinged sound of soul and jazz – according to Hammond.
