Relax on the Village Green at Founders Heritage Park and enjoy the summer sounds of Nelson Jazz Club bands.

Bossa Via is the way of bossa nova — spend your Sunday afternoon with the sunshine sounds of classic and contemporary acoustic bossa nova. We’ll be playing a mix of timeless classics by the great Antonio Carlos Jobim, original tunes from composers of our region, and a selection of re-imagined pop songs that we have given the (tasteful) “bossa treatment”.

Bossa Via’s sound is sophisticated, laid-back, acoustic vibes, and perfect for a summer’s afternoon. Featuring some familiar faces of Nelson’s jazz scene. Our players are: Tessa Quayle – vocals, Dan Callahan – guitar, Annabel Boyes – saxophone, Greg Mills – percussion

Bands play from 12.30 to 2.30pm most Sunday afternoons from January to March.
